About Marley
My name is Marely! I'm 1 year young.
I love everyone I meet and wish to be everyone's best friend! I love to sleep against my foster mum. She calls me a bed hog, whatever that means!
I have numerous cat friends where I live, bug and small. I love to follow them around, groom there heads and steal their toys! My best friend is a retriever pup my age, it's important to have someone around my age to keep up with me . I love to wrestle, play tug a war, tag and falling asleep on or next to my big dog friend. Despite my little size, I am quite strong! I get called "Tornado or Little Spring". I can jump quite high.
I really need another dog playmate in the family as I love to play rough and tumble everyday.
I love to jump up and kiss my humans when they come home from work, I get really excited and silly. I love the dog beach at Kurnell but I am not a big swimmer, I don't like to get my ears wet!! I haven't had too many interactions with young children but I am getting better with my commands and recall each day.
I need some more toilet training as sometimes I get very excited and pee in my bed as I don't like to go outside at night. I'm hypo-allergenic, I love fish, salmon, sardines, tuna & my dog bone marrow treats! It's important I always have a dog friend or human around as I have separation anxiety. My first human got very sick and sadly isn't with us anymore. I would need someone to love me forever!
Medical notes
Currently has an inflamed salivary gland. Has had vet treatment ( antibiotics)
Adoption details
Animals are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and on heartworm prevention / and also FIV tested for cats where possible. They are not available for adoption outside NSW (except ACT). Please email par.adoptions@gmail.com if you would like further information.
Dogs and cats are rehomed on two weeks trial to ensure that both the person adopting them and the rescuer are satisfied that the dog / cat / animal is happy and adapting well to their new home and this can be extended on request
Please be aware that Paws and Recover is run by volunteers who also work. We endeavour to answer enquires as quickly as possible. Some animals will inevitably be very popular and will generate many enquires. Where there is a high volume of enquires received, it will be our priority to contact those that best fit the requirements of the animal. This may mean that it is not possible for all enquires to be answered. Please keep an eye on the website for all updates.
Providing quality information as a part of your enquiry including information about your home environment, family, work hours, other pets and what you are looking for in a companion animal along with what you can offer one will greatly assist.
Please always provide a contact phone number as a part of your enquiry.
