About Kaz
Meet Kaz, the 8-year-old red and tan kelpie with a kind, gentle nature, looking for her retirement home or a hobby job.
This lovely lady adores people, pats and is eager to please. Kaz loves going for rides in the car and lights up when she can explore the garden and look out the front window, watching the world go by. Given Kaz’s age, she has a great off switch.
Having worked her whole life on a farm, Kaz prefers the quiet open air of a property or large block away from the hustle and bustle of the suburbs. She would like to retire to a single dog home, with no cats or pocket pets, to enjoy the comforts of her retirement. Kaz would benefit from a home that is patient with her and can build her confidence as her life changes.
Kaz is comfortable being outside on her own, with secure fencing however is still adjusting to the comforts of inside, and will usually stand by your side, seeking extra pats that may come her way. Kaz is working on her toilet training and walking on lead, she sleeps perfectly overnight in her crate and travels really well in the car (looking for any opportunity to jump in if the door is left open).
Kaz would also prefer a calmer home with older or no children with people home more often than not.
If you would love an easy going, loving companion, Kaz is the girl for you.
Kaz is located in VIC.

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa.
