About Charlie
Looking for foster carers! Not available for adoption xxx
These cats, previously only known by their impound number, were saved from deathrow at a rural pound where they were unfortunately abandoned through no fault of their own. They had wonderful foster carers who put their hands up to care for them, meaning we could take them on under our rescue and bring them home to safety! Whilst these babies no longer need carers there are 100's and 1000's of cats and kittens in need of immediate rescue and unfortunately we can not bring them into care until we have a carer free. We hope this post will encourage you to foster and join our village :)
These babies are looking for a safe place, whether it be with a foster carer or adopter. They come straight from the pound. As a part of Village Tails we will cover all of their vetwork, supply food and support. All we ask is someone kind enough to foster their little lives while we find their forever home.
Choosing to foster an animal is not just a temporary commitment; it's a transformative experience for both you and the animal you are helping. Whether it's a dog learning to trust humans again or a cat getting its first taste of a safe and loving environment, the time spent in foster care can make all the difference in an animal's journey to a forever home.
We understand that fostering can be both rewarding and challenging. That's why we offer continuous support to all our foster carers. Our experienced volunteers are just a phone call away, ready to provide expert advice and guidance, ensuring that you have all the tools you need to offer the best possible care to your foster animal.
If you're looking to make a meaningful impact and have a rewarding experience, we encourage you to consider fostering. You'll be joining a community of like-minded individuals dedicated to a greater cause.
All VT cats are indoor only :)
If you would be interested in fostering a cat/kitten in need, please send us a message :)

At The Mini Rescue, we strive to make the adoption process as seamless as possible. We understand that bringing a new pet into your home is a big decision that will enrich your life in countless ways. That’s why we’ve developed a clear, step-by-step guide to help you find your perfect match and provide a loving home for one of our precious animals. Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
