About Chloe
*Chloe is receiving 3 weeks of intensive training at a board and train and will be looking for a new foster carer or foster to adopt who would be happy to talk and work with the trainer.*
Chloe will need the following in her new home:
- To be allowed inside when her family are home and to sleep for the night.
- A yard big enough to run and play fetch with secure fencing.
- A male desexed dog that is playful and tolerant.
- Continued training so she grows to be a valued member of the family.
This little miss is absolutely adorable! And just to top it off, Chloe has a wonderful personality to match. She is a very sweet puppy with a gentle temperament. She is very affectionate and loves to get lots of cuddles. There is nothing better than snuggling up on her foster carer’s lap until she falls asleep.
Chloe also loves to play. She loves to play fetch and as soon as the tennis ball comes out her game face comes on. She’s currently learning to drop the ball at our feet when playing fetch & is picking it up quickly.
Chloe thoroughly enjoys the companionship of other dogs. She loves playing with them but doesn't understand when they have had enough and will need a doggy companion that is tolerant as she is very persistent in initiating play. Chase is her favourite game to play, she is always the chaser. Chloe will need daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep her happy and healthy throughout her life. She may have little legs but she has been on long hikes with her foster mum & never slows down.
While in foster care, Chloe has begun her basic training. She has learnt how to sit and is learning how to wait for her food. She is very food motivated & can get a little over excited with meals. She currently eats from a slow feeder so she doesn’t inhale her food to fast.
Chloe is sleeping well at night and is 90% toilet trained. The only times she has an accident is when the doors are closed.
We are looking for a forever home for Chloe where she will be an integral part of the family. Chloe should be allowed inside the home to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. Whoever gets to make this girl a part of their family will be rewarded with lots of love and puppy kisses!
Recently Chloe was dog sat by her foster mum’s family while she had a few nights away, this is what the sitter had to say. “Chloe was really great with the kids aged 7, 4, and 2. Chloe wouldn’t leave their sides and just wanted to be by their sides. She would drop balls and toys at their feet for them to throw, she wouldn’t give the ball to the adults but kept on dropping them for the kids. We have a cat and she couldn’t have cared about it, they even drunk from the same water bowl with no issues.”
