About Penelope
Penelope is a extremely sweet but timid little lady who is looking for the right people who understand cat body language very well, and will take the patience to coax her out of her shell. She will need someone not afraid of a little hissing and stomping, and will be willing to show her all the patience and love in the world!
With little to no human interaction for her life before she came into rescue - people are still very big and scary for her. In the three months she has been in foster she has made huge strides in her behaviour and now absolutely loves pets and chin scratches, however she does still love to hide away and will occasionally hiss and stomp if there are loud noises or sudden environmental changes.
She absolutely adores tinned wet food and will come running out of a corner when she hears the tin open, and she can be very vocal and will chirp you the songs of her people while she patiently waits for food. Food time is her favourite time and the best time to give her lots of pets and loves, and she also loves treats!
Penny also has a very unique tail with a mind of its own, and looks almost like the tail has electric shocks going through it when she's happy! Although it does almost look like she's got a rattle tail, she only seems to do this when happy and not when she's mad - she is just very silly!
Penelope is also available for foster to adopt, as she will take time to warm up to new people and come out of her shell.
Penelope will be available to go to her forever home by the 21/04/24 as she is still currently recovering from desexing!
