Eddie - 7 Year Old Maltese X (Hold)

🐶 Oh hi there! My name's Eddie. Do you like playing fetch? Because I LOVE playing fetch with my stuffed toys. If I could, I would play fetch ALL day, and ALL night - but my foster human says I should expand my interests 🙄

Here's what you should know about me:

• I'm very little (under 5kgs) but I don't like you to assume you can just pick me up - I'm an independent man and I like doing things myself, thank you very much.
• Having said that, I love a head and belly rub, and to curl up next to humans while they watch tv. I'm also a great work from home companion - as long as you can look away from that boring Zoom meeting for 5 seconds to throw me my toy!
• I like being an only dog so that I don't have to share my toys.
• I'm toilet trained and I used the doggy door at my carer's house without anyone showing me because I'm very smart.
• I've been letting my foster human think she's teaching me things like sit - but being 7 yrs old, there's lot's I already know, and lot's more I'd like to learn if you have a tasty treat (or 2, or 3...) to share.
• I'm not sure if I made it clear, but I LOVE to play fetch. My dream human(s) will share my passion.

👩 Hi - I'm Eddie's carer. He's an adorable, cheeky little boy. He enjoys leash walks, however needs work on his reactivity, so he is not the type of dog to take to dog parks, crowded areas or where other unfamiliar dogs might be. He's independent in that he does not need or want your help to jump on the bed or lounge, in fact, he will surprise you how high his little legs can jump. Don't let that fool you though, he's a lovely companion and will thrive in a stable, caring environment - especially if you have a comfy place on the lounge for him. Oh, he told me to tell you that he LOVES to play fetch 🙄.

Eddie is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. He is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped. Adoption fee is $500.
