Chickpea

Mama Chickpea is a gentle and sweet soul, who has had a rough start to life. Having a litter young, Chickpea found herself on HVAFARC’s doorstep with three of her babies needing immediate help. After some medical treatment, a nice bath, and lots of food and cuddles, Chickpea’s life is looking a lot brighter, and she is now on the hunt for the perfect family that can give her a second chance in life.
Chickpea is a vocal lady who loves to have a chat with you. A sure-fire way to win her over is a good scratch behind the ears (don’t tell her we told you that). She loves to roam and explore quietly and loves to just be near people. She does love to play, although it seems she is still learning how to do this, as she is still somewhat of a baby herself.
Chickpea is litter trained, and we are currently carrier training her as well to ensure that the carrier is a fun and exciting thing. She would be suitable for most families, either as an only pet or in a multi-pet household.
