Hi, I’m Patches,
I’ve been waiting over two years.
Two whole years of watching other dogs pack their bags and head off to their forever homes while I stay behind. I try to stay patient and keep my tail wagging, but deep down I dream about the day someone finally chooses me.

A couch to call mine.
A human to lean on.
A place where I finally belong.

I’m a lovable boof with a huge heart. I’m deaf, but don’t let that fool you — I’m a clever boy who already knows hand signals for sit, come and wait. I just need to see your hands.

I’m a big affectionate goofball who thinks cuddling is a competitive sport. In another life I’m pretty sure I was a Maltese because I absolutely believe I belong in your lap… and honestly, if I fits, I sits!

I love beach trips, water play.

I fit in beautifully with both deaf and hearing dogs and settle in easily.

I would absolutely love a doggy companion in my future home, but I do like to choose my own friends, so a meet and greet will be important to make sure we’re the perfect match.

Kids aged 10+ would suit me best because sometimes I forget I’m built like a lovable wrecking ball. I’m all heart, just with a bit of extra size behind the enthusiasm!

I may not hear the world around me, but I feel love deeply. I’m still holding onto hope that my people are out there somewhere.
