About Daisy
Meet our adorable Golden Retriever x Poodle mix who is eagerly seeking her new forever home! This sweet girl came to us at BARC with her coat severely matted, causing discomfort, but thanks to a welfare groom, she now feels much better (and don't worry, we Know you won't pick on her about it!).
Despite her past challenges, she remains a beautiful and loving companion, ready to bring joy to a loving family. Her luxurious coat will require grooming every 6-8 weeks, so her new family should be prepared for regular maintenance to keep her looking and feeling her best.
One of her standout qualities is her eagerness to learn and train, making her a great candidate for obedience classes or learning fun tricks together. She loves offering her paw for you to hold, showcasing her affectionate nature.
Social and friendly, she gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having a furry friend to play with. One of her favorite pastimes is splashing around in a shell pool, cooling off on hot days and having a blast.
You'll often find her carrying toys around in her mouth, ready for a game of fetch or a playful interaction. With her loving personality and playful spirit, she's sure to bring endless happiness to her new family. Come meet this special girl and give her the loving forever home she deserves!
To book a meet and greet with Daisy please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
