About Harriet
In the heart of a bustling neighborhood, there lived a spirited soul named Harriet, a one-year-old Labrador bursting with boundless energy and overflowing love. From the moment she bounded into the lives of her humans, it was clear that Harriet's purpose was simple yet profound: to spread joy and warmth wherever her paws tread.
Harriet's days were a whirlwind of adventures, laughter, and wagging tails. She thrived in the company of other dogs, her tail wagging like a metronome in sync with their playful antics. The local playgroup became her sanctuary, a place where her enthusiasm knew no bounds, chasing balls, rolling in the grass, and exchanging joyful barks with newfound friends.
Among her favorite pastimes was a playful romp in her shell pool, splashing and frolicking until she was soaked from head to tail, her joyful barks echoing like a melody of happiness. Harriet's exuberance knew no limits, especially when greeted by kids who shared her zest for life and understood her exuberant nature.
Harriet is currently in season, please keep this in mind when making a booking to meet her.
Despite her youthful exuberance, Harriet possessed a heart of gold and an innate desire to please. Whether it was fetching a ball, learning a new trick, or simply showering her humans with affectionate licks, she embraced each task with unwavering enthusiasm.
In essence, Harriet was more than just a typical Labrador; she was a beacon of love, joy, and unbridled energy, weaving her way into the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
