Hi there! My name is Beauty. Ironically, I'm a beautiful black Percheron mare with a thick, black, curly mane. I am a very chill horse, where not much bothers me and I am not as big as you might think I would be! I would prefer an experienced owner who knows how to handle me as this helps me feel safe. I do test people as I put my ears back when I greet you, but this is just what I do and it lets me know you can handle me. Other than that, I like to take my time and just enjoy life. I am fine with being fly sprayed, fly masked, rugged, brushed, bathed, haltered, with floating and being lead. I am improving with my farrier each time and am working with my foster parents on this too. I don't mind a saddle on my back, other animals around me (such as dogs, donkey, goat) and I am fine with little kids too (just preferably not when I'm eating, or when they are by themselves). With a bit of training, who knows what I could do! I would make a great paddock companion as I have excellent paddock manners, I just like my own space to eat my own food at feed times. I love some treats, especially watermelon but carrots work great too! I hope you will adopt me into a safe, loving and experienced home and I promise to be very grateful and delightful in return.
