About Scooter
Hi I’m Scooter, a 1-year-old male cattle dog/kelpie cross. I'm a big goof ball who loves to play and my foster parents say I'm very entertaining.
I can be shy and a little bit scared of new people and places initially but once I’ve warmed up I’m a lot of fun and full of energy. I have the most fun playing with my other dogs and am mostly good at not playing too ruff with smaller dogs. I’m very affectionate and I love a scratch on my chest and a snuggle.
I have been learning to sit, shake, drop and wait at roads and am walking pretty well on the lead. My recall is also very good. I also go for runs with my foster family in the quiet mornings. I would love for someone to continue my training and am eager to please.
I’m ready to find my forever home. I will be best suited to a home with a doggie friend or 2 to play with and keep me company, also a secure back yard. I’ll need parents that understand my needs, are home more often than not, patient of me to get comfortable in new situations, take me on lots of walks and add to my training. I would be best suited to a home without young children due to my shy nature. I haven’t been tested with cats or other animals yet.
If I sound like the dog for you please fill out the adoption form and apply for me!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
