About Gonzo
Gonzo is a gentle natured Cattle Dog x Kelpie pup with endless love to give.
Gonzo has grown in confidence whilst in care and shown his lovely temperament around people, including children, and other dogs. His interest to stay close to his trusted companion will enable his training to excel. Although at first Gonzo may need time and gentle encouragement to explore he is proving to possess the energetic and tenacious traits of his breed.
A lovely dog to walk on lead, Gonzo will also sit nicely for his dinner and is perfecting his toilet training. With ongoing training he will thrive in a home with another or multiple dogs.
Gonzo travels well and enjoys adventures to the beach or anywhere he can stretch his legs. This boy is fast! With his playful and inquisitive spirit, under the right guidance, and a strong grip for tug of war, Gonzo may enjoy dog sports or activities where he can connect with his human.
Gonzo has shown a confident streak around livestock which could be developed further in the right home. The desire to have an apprentice adventurer is a must!
If you can offer Gonzo a home with the promise of your kindness and time please complete an application and be rewarded with a true companion and the love of Gonzo.
Gonzo is located in VIC.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
