On Hold
About Zadie - Located in Reservoir
Well hello there, lovely humans! I'm Zadie, the dainty little lady with a heart of gold and a purr that can rival the angels singing.
Picture this: I'm trotting around, exploring every nook and cranny with the grace and elegance of a prima ballerina. And when I find something I like, oh boy, you better believe my purrometer goes into overdrive! Seriously, it's like music to your ears.
Now, I'll let you in on a little secret: once I warm up to you, I'm all about those cuddles. Yep, you heard me right. Scoop me up in your arms, and I'll melt into a fluffy puddle of contentment. There's nothing quite like the feeling of being held close and showered with love, don't you think?
Oh, and speaking of love, I absolutely adore the company of other cats. Currently, I'm living it up with my brothers and sister, and let me tell you, we're quite the tight-knit bunch. Whether we're playing, lounging, or just enjoying each other's company, life is always better when you've got friends by your side.
So, if you're in need of a snuggly and cuddly companion to brighten your days, look no further. Zadie, the beautiful little lady with a heart as big as her purr, is here to steal your heart and fill your home with warmth and affection.
Catch you on the snuggle train,
Zadie 🐾

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
