About Izzy
Izzy is a teeny-sized red cavalier DARLING with one of the biggest, bubbliest and sweetest personalities you could ever hope to meet! She's easy-going, extremely loveable and really enjoys being a part of the action, even if it's just following you around the house or catching up on some sleep on the couch while you're watching Netflix. Izzy would LOVE nothing more than sleeping on your bed and getting pats throughout the day!
Izzy is a little cavalier lady (approx 3.8kg) who has spent most of her days having puppies and really deserves a loving home and the opportunity to be a wonderful companion herself. She's a people-pleaser with all her soul and would suit both families or an individual; most importantly though she would do best where someone was home quite a bit or where she had another dog for company.
Even though she's tiny, Izzy gets along superbly with dogs of all sizes, including our greyhound. Although not tested, we are confident she wouldn't take issue with cats, chooks or pocket pets. Izzy does like to guard food around puppies, she will growl (not snap) but you can easily remove her or her food, without any issue and given her breeding background it's understandable she likes to ensure there is some food left for her!
Izzy's toileting has been reliable inside and her sleeping area/crate are always tidy of a morning. She is happy sleeping in a crate at night and we'd recommend this in her new home to begin with too. This will help her settle into her new home and also provide you with a sense of security, knowing exactly where your pet is during the night until you both have a thorough understanding of each other.
Izzy is low shedding and the occasional brush or trip to the groomer's during Summer is all she would need.
This outgoing, gentle girl would be a well-suited new addition to a family/person that can provide her with the love and attention she craves, along with some commitment to furthering her training including walking on a lead & getting accustomed to your routines (her recall is suprisingly good and she aims to please- so Izzy would be a dream to train in any manner).
She is currently housed in Orange, NSW, and she's busting to make someone's life happier with her delightful presence.
If you can offer Izzy a kind, loving, patient home please send an enquiry through via Pet Rescue telling us a bit about yourself, your home and your lifestyle.
Medical notes
Izzy has been microchipped, desexed, vaccinations all up to date and is booked in for a scale and polish on her teeth in the next fortnight (which she really needs). She is in wonderful health but could benefit from putting on a little more weight in her new home.

Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer Izzy.
We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in lots of cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
