About Badger
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Badger is a sweet boy who just wants love! He has had a tough go of things before entering foster care, but his affection and want for human attention has never waned. Initially he is a little shy, but once he settles in your home, he will love to sit with you on the couch, sleep snuggled up close and ask for lots of head scratches. Badger is keen to have your affection whenever you offer it and is your little shadow as you walk around the house - he just always wants to be with you! He loves his food and gets 10/10 for litter use.
My Ideal Home:
Badger is initially a shy kitty so needs a calm home where he can feel safe and relaxed to come out of his shell (this has happened in just a few weeks in foster care). As with all Hunter Animal Rescue cats, he needs to be rehomed as indoors only or in a secure cat enclosure (which he would love)!
What is Known About My Background:
Badger came into foster care after experiencing a chemical burn to his face. He has healed up really well, has now completed all his vet work and is ready to find his forever home where he will be loved every day.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
Badger is very chilled around other cats - they don't phase him at all, and he allows them to have their own space. For this reason, Badger should be very easy to introduce into a home with other cats. As Badger is a shy boy, he is best suited to a home without young children, although if they visit the home, as long as he has a safe place to retreat to, he would be fine. Badger has not been around dogs in foster care and so it is unknown how he would go with them.
