Hi everyone . my name is Cruz and i'm the happiest little fella you could wish to meet
I’m a chilled little dog and I love meeting new people. I'm friendly around all and enjoy the company of my humans so much that I typically roll on my back and just beg for belly scratches. I do like to jump (and bounce), so you may need to be prepared to be smothered in doggie kisses & cuddles when I meet you. Did I mention that I love love love cuddles and pats.

I also love meeting new doggies, as long as they are not too big, they can make me a little anxious and i may bark at them
I'm a very good doggy during the day.
Whilst my foster owners work, I enjoy being outside in the backyard, sleeping on the sofa, sunbaking or enjoying hiding food.
I do enjoy going for walks, and have a tendency to get easily distracted and want check everything out
Sometimes just playing fetch with the tennis ball in the backyard is enough to wear me out as i'm not a high energy little boy
Whilst out and about, I am happy to walk up and say hello to passers by, and potentially get to say hello to fellow furry friends if they are calm in nature. I don't mind a pat and a cuddle.
When it is bedtime, I settle right down in my safe space (doggie crate) where I sleep a good 7-8 hours before my foster parents wake me up to go outside and have fun all over again.
I love to follow you wherever you go inside Seeing what they are doing and hopefully I can show them my cute doggie eyes and get a yummy treat.

Doesn't mind being outside (when not cold or rainy)
Enjoys walks around the neighborhood
Cruz is currently sleeping in his crate from around 10 - 7 and will settle after 5 minutes or so
He loves hanging outside most of the time and sleeping in the weirdest spots in the sun lol
When inside he is a couch boy and loves to snuggle up on the couch
Cruz barks and chases possums so we don't think he would be great with cats
He is housetrained but the first few days in care doid scent mark inside them home
Being a JRT and having that typical coat Cruz will require brushing and does shed hair

ADOPTION CRITERIA
A home with a nice yard with grass for snoozing in the sun and playing ball
A home with secure fencing plenty of shade and shelter
A home without cats please as I'm not tested
If another dog in residence Im definitely seeking a chilled small size who is not going to annoy me and jump all over me but im fine to be an only boy
A home where I can have indoor outdoor access
Children are fine but they must love to play ball lol and not mind me jumping up with my little legs for a cuddle
A home that can take me for a nice little walk to explore the neighborhood
A home that will love me forever and ever
