About Darcy
Meet Darcy, a charming puppy full of mischief!
Darcy had a tough start to life, being surrendered to the shelter as one of a litter of 9 malnourished puppies.
Darcy has bounced back from his tough start to life, and he is now fit, healthy, and ready to explore the world. Darcy is playful and full of energy, and always on the lookout for a new adventure.
With his lovely friendly nature, Darcy will make a wonderful family dog.
Darcy will fill your house with laughter and tail wags during the day and settle down by your side in the evening for a good cuddle.
For anyone interested to learn more about Darcy, or eager to meet him, or any of his 6 siblings, please contact our Shelter Manager, Yvette on 0421 831 128.
Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: friendsofthepound.com/adoption-apply
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on the cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten. and 15-20 years for a puppy.
