About Edie
Such a stunner is our gorgeous “Edie” she is a sweet and goofy girl who is also very affectionate. She loves to cuddle up on the couch or bed with you, she has so much love to give.
Edie is playful and energetic, she loves to play and run and would suit an active family. She would love to have kids or another dog to play and have fun with. Fetch is a favourite game of hers and she will happily play it for ages (until you are too tired to keep playing it basically) Edie has been around cats but you will need to have another dog as well or she will want the cats to be her play mates.
She can be a little shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly and you will become her best friend in no time. She would love to join a family who will commit to her training and take her on lots of adventures. In return you will get an amazing, beautiful, loyal, and loving dog for your family.
It is a condition in our adoption agreement that all our dogs are to be taken through obedience training to ensure they reach their full potential.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a large secure yard.
• Edie will not be alone for more than 6 hrs
• You will enrol Edie in obedience training.
• You will allow Edie to be part of the family and will allow her access to indoors with you.
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please provide the name of the obedience club you will be taking Edie to.
PLEAS NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
