About Cameron
Cameron's new home must have:
- To be allowed inside when his people are home and to sleep inside.
- To be taken for regular walks.
- Another older dog for companionship, not overly playful.
- A secure yard.
Cameron is maturing to be a loving, settled companion to his people and the dogs he is being fostered with. Cameron’s foster family say “he is the easiest dog to have around, he is loving and quiet”. Cameron’s favourite thing is to sit on his mat or at your feet or preferable on your lap, whether it’s while you are watching tv, or in the home office. He isn’t into looking for mischief, isn’t destructive and doesn’t chew on inappropriate things when given some chew toys. Cameron loves going for a walk on lead and can walk well on a loose leash but he doesn’t need a lot of exercise. Cameron can get a little startled when out on walks and will hide behind you for comfort, but soon recovers. Cameron is happy and friendly with all people he meets out and about and that come into the home, he is a good boy and doesn’t jump up to greet but if a face gets in his way would happily give the a lick to show his love. Cameron would prefer the company of another dog that is calm and not looking for lots of plays. He is toilet trained, can sit and wait for his food and is working on his recall but hasn't been tested off lead. Well, it is hard to practice recall at the park when he just wants to be close to you. Cameron is good around cats with slow introductions. He is ok when left and he travels well in the car.
The breed is to the best of our knowledge from the information we've been given.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
