About Waze
Waze is such a looker! He is just simply adorable and has stunning markings that attract attention wherever he goes. Waze is a cuddle monster. He enjoys snuggling up on the couch with his foster carer and is more than happy to take cuddles off anyone that he meets. Waze is good at making new friends with people he meets, including children, as he has a naturally friendly personality. When it is playtime, his cheekiness comes out! He is an inquisitive puppy who enjoys investigating. Waze enjoys playing with his toys and will happily get into a good game of tug of war with you or a doggy friend. His favourite toys are the fluffy soft ones though which he loves to give a good throw around.
Waze was found underneath a house in rural NSW with his 3 siblings and mum. His mum is a medium mixed breed who has a wonderful temperament – so much so that her foster carers couldn’t part with her! Waze is expected to grow to a medium size around the 20-25kg mark. He will be a moderately to relatively active boy who will need some good daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep him healthy and happy throughout his life.
While in foster care, Waze has been bunking with one of his siblings and two other adult dogs. He loves the company of the other dogs and enjoys playing with them. Waze enjoys wrestling and chasing games with the other dogs. He is still a baby though and will need a family committed to continuing his socialisation with other dogs. This would ideally be in the form of playdates with known friendly dogs so that he can have positive experiences that can shape him into a respectful and friendly adult dog.
Waze has begun some basic training in his foster home. He is a good learner and likes his food, so it is easy enough to get his attention. This little one can sit for his treat and if not too distracted will do a drop as well. He has been learning to walk on a lead out and about to explore the world. Waze’s new owners will need to continue to expose him to the surrounding world to ensure that he becomes confident and relaxed in a whole range of environments. He will need people willing to give him regular training so that he can become a great little canine citizen. Waze has no problems travelling in the car so will become a great buddy to take along for rides and go to nice places with.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Waze where he will be a loved member of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. He would love a home with another friendly adult dog who is already trained up and able to show him the ropes. Otherwise, he is fine to live as an only dog as long as his new owners are around more often than not and can assist him through the transitional period. Waze should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed to sleep on at night.
Waze is able to live with dog savvy children who are confident enough to deal with the typical puppy behaviours. He can also be integrated with other types of pets with the appropriate training and guidance from his owners. Waze is a happy and confident little fellow who will grow up to be a loyal and handsome companion. He will make a wonderful addition to his new home.
If you would like to make this gorgeous boy a part of your family, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the first step. Please include plenty of details about your previous dog experience, current household members and the type of lifestyle you can offer Waze.

This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
