I think it's time you meet Roo, and boy does he love to ZOOOOOOOOOOM!

He's an energetic young fella with a zest for life and a love of toys, so he is looking for an active family to take him on daily walks or runs and give him plenty of enrichment! He would love a house with a backyard for him to sniff and play around in where his new family and him can play heaps of tug-of-war too! He will however need a yard with secure fencing for when he has access to the outdoors.

Roo is suitable for a home with adults only (16+) as he is a little unsure of unfamiliar hoomans so children will be too much for him. It is important his hoomans understand that it will take time for him to settle with new friends. As he can become a bit jumpy when he is excited. Its recommended that his new family take him to training classes or basic obedience training so he can learn some basic skills and some doggy manners. Although, being a kelpie means he is a quick learner who loves treats, so this shouldn't be a problem.

He is still learning to keep his cool around his doggo pals, but may be okay sharing a home with a doggo to show him the ropes pending a meet & greet at the shelter.
