Hello there, I’m Patch and I’ve been described as the “perfect gentleman.” What a compliment! I’m pretty fond of the simple things in life, a little cuddle on the couch, or cooling my belly off in the pool. I also love the sprinkler and treats! I’m hoping to find a family who are willing to teach me stuff because I love learning and I want to become a bit more confident. I already know lots though so you wouldn’t be starting from scratch I also walk really well on and off the lead. I’d also love to go to a family who spend a bit of time at home because I love family time and I am super friendly to other people, dogs and children.. If you’re looking for a new, very polite member of the family I think you should consider me.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.
