About Shane - Located in Templestowe
Well, hello there, world! It's me, Shane—your soon-to-be favorite feline friend, ready to bring a touch of chic and a whole lot of charm to your life! 🐾
Don't let my petite stature fool you; I've got grand aspirations and a heart that's practically bursting with affection. Imagine this: me, perched ever-so-delicately on your chest, basking in the glow of your love and admiration. That's the kind of luxury I live for!
I'm like a finely crafted cocktail, a little sweet, a little spicy, and entirely fabulous. My hobbies include chasing mouse toys with the fervor of a fashionista hunting down the season's must-have accessory and flaunting my zoomies down the hallway like it's my own personal runway. Oh, and let's not forget my passion for culinary delights—kibble, treats, and all things delicious are the way to my heart!
Now, about snuggles—I'm still navigating the art of cuddle couture, but with each day, I become more of a pro. Cheek scratches and chin rubs are becoming my jam, and before you know it, I'll be your personal snuggle sommelier.
I'm open to sharing my world with a kindred spirit, but if it's just you and me, I'll happily bask in the spotlight as the apple of your eye.
So, are you ready for a whirlwind of adventures, cozy moments, and perhaps a little drama (of the good kind, of course)? Let’s embark on this fabulous journey together! Adventure awaits, darling! 🐱💫

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
