About Penny
❤️AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION❤️
Special needs girl Penny needs a very special owner, is that you?
Penny is a young 18-month-old girl with a happy and sweet personality. She has many years to give to her new family.
About Penny:
She is a rare “Blue” greyhound with a lovely smoky grey coat, piercing light eyes, and a huge smile.
She lost her front leg in an accident when she was a pup. It hasn’t slowed her down. She loves to do zoomies, play with toys, and play with her greyhound foster brother. She enjoys 2 short walks a day.
Penny will benefit from a joint supplement to keep her single front leg healthy and pain-free. She has a simple daily stretching routine to keep her flexible and strong.
She absolutely loves people and will follow you everywhere. She wants to be near you, or on the lounge or bed with you. Her 3 favorite things are snuggles, belly rubs, and playing with toys.
After only 3 weeks in a home she is learning quickly- household routines, and commands like ‘toilet’, ‘on your bed’, and ‘wait’.
The perfect family for Penny:
Someone is home most of the time. Penny is currently learning to cope alone without a human. She has done well for an hour and we expect this to increase as she relaxes in her new home.
She would love a dog sibling. She gets on well with all dogs, so her sibling doesn’t need to be a greyhound but will need to be playful.
She would also love school-age human siblings who would love to throw toys for her and run around the backyard, but this isn’t essential if she has a playful dog sibling.
A backyard is essential for her to burn off her puppy playfulness. It just needs to be big enough for short runs and throwing around toys.
Her foster carer is happy to have a chat about Penny.
