About Judy STA012245
Meet Judy! A very shy gem who, underneath her timidity, houses an abundance of affection waiting for the right person to unfold. This sweet feline has learned to trust in her own pace and is eagerly seeking a compassionate and patient person to guide her into a comforting lifestyle within the bounds of a loving home.
Judy has a quick mind and is largely motivated by food. She relishes in cracking food puzzles that keep her sharp, playful side engaged. This also makes meal times not just about nourishment, but also an exciting game. She will truly appreciate someone who'll play along and reward her prowess with her favourite treats.
Judy thrives best in a serene setting where she can truly begin to emerge from her shell. So, a home without young children or dogs would be a must for her gentle spirit. She has a need for an environment with a reliable routine, ensuring her timid nature can flourish into a comfortable and gentle demeanour.
When it comes to health, Judy is FIV+, meaning she must be kept indoors only.
In the right home, Judy will flourish into a confident and happy companion. She is simply looking for someone who can understand her unique needs and who is ready to enjoy her sweet, quiet companionship. Share your peaceful home with Judy, and she'll fill it with love in return.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
