About Striker
Meet Striker, the charming 11-month-old Kelpie with a heart of gold and boundless energy. Striker's good looks are matched only by his friendly and affectionate personality, making him an irresistible companion for any dog lover. With medium-high energy levels, Striker thrives in an active household where he can enjoy daily walks and plenty of mental stimulation to keep his mind engaged and his spirits high.
Despite his youthful exuberance, Striker is a well-mannered and happy-go-lucky dog who approaches life with a positive outlook. He's always ready for adventure and loves nothing more than exploring the great outdoors with his favorite humans by his side. Although being originally great with dogs when he first came to the shelter, he now struggles a little with face-to-face greetings. He is fine to co-exist around other dogs and pass them on walks but prefers the company of his handler. For this reason, it's best for Striker to live in a single dog home.
While Striker adores the company of adults, he may not be the best fit for households with young children under the age of 13. His exuberant energy and playful nature could inadvertently overwhelm younger children, so an adult-only or older child household would be ideal for him. Additionally, Striker requires secure fencing to ensure his safety and prevent any unexpected escapades.
If you're searching for a loyal and energetic companion to join you on life's adventures, look no further than Striker. With his friendly demeanor and zest for life, he's sure to bring joy and laughter to any home lucky enough to welcome him.
