Meet Wolfsbane. A bundle of energy with eyes that would melt steel! Wolfsbane is a very intelligent boy, with the wholesome puppy goof in full swing. He can currently sit, lie down, wait. We are working on being better on the lead, and standing in between legs to heel when told to. He is just about toilet trained, with the occasional accident which is more than normal for a puppy his age. Wolfsbane is doing very well in his training and must keep this up to stimulate that working kelpie brain.

Currently, Wolfsbane is living with an older dog. Sharing his wisdom, his mentor has been extremely beneficial to Wolfsbanes learning and behaviour. He is very much a copy cat and looks up to his mentor. That being said, it’s best Wolfsbane goes to a home with a resident dog OR extremely committed family. He will need either to live to his best life and be a good boy. If you are experienced with kelpies and willing to work with him, a resident dog in your home may not be necessary.

Wolfsbane would be suited to a home with either: acreage, close to somewhere he can run or perhaps a home with a very active family member willing to include him. He is high energy, you definitely only catch him snoozing when the humans do! He does sleep through the night with no issues. When he is not running laps around the backyard or barking at the nearest inanimate object, you can find Wolfsbane sitting at your feet waiting for a smooch.

This sweetheart will make the best lovebug in your home. He sleeps in his bed, or on your head. He adores other dogs, and will curl up to them too. If what you’ve read above is music to your ears, don’t hesitate to apply!
