About Luna
Meet Luna: Ready for Her Next Adventure!
Looking to add a loving companion to your life? Meet Luna, a charming 5.5-year-old female GSPX who's seeking a new forever home in Canberra through our rescue group!
Luna's story began when she was rescued from the RSPCA at 10 weeks old. Now, she's in search of a special family who can provide her with the care and attention she deserves. Desexed and vaccinated, Luna is a gentle soul who's still with her current family, but they've reached out to us to help find her the perfect match.
Despite her 35kg stature, Luna is a sweetheart at heart—a true lap-dog who loves nothing more than cuddling up with her loved ones. She's grown up alongside other dogs and children, making her the perfect addition to an active household. Luna enjoys walks, hikes, beach outings, and swimming, and she's always up for a good play session.
However, Luna struggles with general anxiety and separation anxiety, for which she requires daily medication. She thrives in a calm, quiet environment away from loud noises and would do best in a home where she can be indoors and showered with love and attention. Luna also has a sensitivity to chicken protein, so a special diet is necessary to manage her skin and ear health.
Despite these challenges, Luna is a well-behaved pup who responds to basic commands and loves to explore the great outdoors. With her friendly demeanour and playful spirit, Luna is sure to bring endless joy to her new family.
Time is of the essence, as Luna's current family needs to find her a new home or foster carer by the 17th of March. If you're ready to open your heart and home to Luna, please reach out to our rescue group today. Let's work together to ensure Luna finds the loving family she deserves! If you would be open to fostering her we would also love to speak with you about this option.
