Hello, my name is Dolly and I'm looking for my forever humans.

I am a gorgeous 8 month and 2 week old Maltese x Shih Tzu who has come into care due to a personal reason from my owner

I came into care a little nervous and unsure of other dogs, I was only used to one other............ well now my foster mum has said somehow she doesn't think I will go back into the 'box' I came in - my confidence levels are high and I'm such a happy girl.

I love to play and love to be with my humans.

I currently live in a home where one of my humans works from home and the other goes to work, I love having my foster mum home and even love it more when my foster dad comes home and gives me a cuddle.

I'm a small white fluffy dog so of course i would love a home where someone is home working, not needing to work, stay home parent, shift worker etc etc.

I currently weigh 4.1kgs

I am currently living with lots of other dogs (big and small) and once I get over being nervous around them I love it!!! I love to play and wrestle and play chase, tug of wars is fun and just basically hanging out with my fur siblings and loving life.

I also do love to snuggle up with them thru the day when it's nap time.

I love my food and treats

I have lived with kids and had no issues with them - I mean more attention for me!

I am untested with a cat but my foster mum says she thinks I will simply want to make friends with them

I have a favorite toy that I love to play with, its from Kmart called a Multi Squeak Bear - my foster mum has stocked up on a couple of these as my foster siblings and I did a tug of war the other day and it didn't quite hold up to the game, I was pretty sad so she got me a few more..... but I will be happily with different toys as well as I love playing with them.

I love to have a run around out in the yard with my foster siblings

I have just started working on lead work I am a typical pup who can tangle myself within a minute but I will do it with a smile on my face and a twinkle in my eye!

I do also enjoy a good snooze preferably on my humans bed. I sleep with my humans on their bed and would love to continue that.

I will take myself out to the toilet if the door is open but I have been known to make mistakes occasionally when the door was shut - I can use a doggy door and my foster mum asks that i please not try and go thru it at 100klms per hour but others do soooooooooo you know.............

My ideal home would be where I can be inside as much as I want and have access outside for lady business and some play and sunbaking. I would not enjoy being a dog that would be expected to spend hours outside by myself.

I would also love a home with another small breed dog who wants to play and be my friend.

I do have a coat that requires regular grooming so please make sure that you do remember that it’s a life time of grooming.
