About Daphne
Allow us to introduce Daphne, a delightful young pup, bouncing with energy and life. Despite a bit of a rough start to life, this gorgeous girl has shown remarkable resilience and health. She's now eager to find her way into a caring family's heart and home.
Daphne is guaranteed to be a fantastic family dog with her playful, gentle nature and endearing personality.
Daphne comes from a litter of 7 pups, all of whom have lovely natures like their sister.
To find out more about Daphne, or one of her siblings, please contact our Shelter Manager, Yvette on 0421 831 128.
Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: friendsofthepound.com/adoption-apply
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on the cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten. and 15-20 years for a puppy.
