Billie

Billie is a sweet, young girl who needs a little time to warm up to new people. However, with some love, patience and lots of guidance, she will be ready to face the world with her new family.
Billie loves attention and affection but will need an experienced owner to help build her confidence with handling and can read when she is feeling uncomfortable or conflicted. She already knows sit and will need ongoing training in her new home. She does love her treats however and is a quick learner, so it all pairs perfectly.
Billie could go well going to a home with another playful, well trained doggy friend, pending a meet and greet at the shelter. Dog savvy children may be ok also pending meeting, just because Billie can get a bit excited and bouncy. Billie is getting the hang of walking with a harness, and she has lots of energy to burn, so plenty of yard space for her to run around is also a must.
