About Lincoln - 2 Year Old Corgi X (Trial)
Lincoln is a gorgeous, 2-year-old, black and tan, Corgi cross who weighs about 20kg.
Lincoln would be best suited to a home where there is a family of people to give him that attention he desires. He is great with kids and doesn’t jump at all. It’s as if his cute stumpy legs won’t let him.
Lincoln is a playful dog who enjoys squeaky toys. He also loves balls, gleefully fetching and playing tug-of-war. Lincoln will usually come when he is being called and will eat anything you present to him. Currently he eats a good quality dry dog. He is a big fan of bones and chicken wings.
Lincoln is an inside dog. During the evening Lincoln likes to be with his people and will sleep in the lounge room/family room on a dog bed through the night. He is quite independent and is not fond of sitting on your lap but does like to be where you are.
Lincoln is fine with other dogs. It would be nice for him to have a mate to play with.
Unfortunately, Lincoln isn’t good with any type of pocket pet (cats, ferrets, chickens and other birds).
Lincoln is toilet trained, but in the settling period accident will happen. It is not certain if he can use the doggie door as his foster carer has the back door open for him. Lincoln is okay to be left on his own. He is usually out the back if the weather is pleasant. In harsher weather Lincoln is left inside the house. Lincoln would need a doggy friend if he will be on his own often due to work/school commitments.
Lincoln is in foster care on the Central Coast, NSW (Lake Macquarie). Adoptions need to be within a 2–3-hour radius of the Central Coast. Lincoln’s adoption fee is $500. He is desexed, vaccinated and has had treatment for fleas and wormed.
