Hi there, my name is Rookie and I’m looking for my fur-amily (or a new foster)!

I’m a beautiful brindle boy that has a paw-sonality that’s equally as attractive as my beautiful looks. I’ve been described as a gentle soul with a heart of gold, and if you look into my deep brown chocolate eyes I’m sure you’ll see that’s just the case!

I’m also a quick learner and love to please my human, so no matter what you’re trying to teach me I’ll be all ears! I’m always ready for an adventure and love a good walk in the park, but I’m also happy to have a lazy Sunday arvo spent cuddling up on the couch. Basically, I’m an easy going guy that’s willing to melt right into your arms and fur-amily.

I've been fostered with other dogs before but I'd much prefer to be the only dog in the house. SAFE doesn't have any pet-free foster homes available right now and I might end up in kennels. If you've ever considered fostering, now would be a really good time to enquire!
