About Temu
Temu is an absolute gem of a puppy! She is a great allrounder. There is the cute and cuddly side. Temu is happy for anyone to pick her up and give her some love. She happily repays it by licking your chin. This little girl also loves to snuggle next to you on the couch when it’s time for a nap. There is also the adventurous and playful side to her. She is a confident puppy with a touch of larrikin in her which will leave her new family in stitches. There is nothing cuter than watching her grab her tennis ball and trot around proudly with it in her mouth. Temu enjoys exploring the garden and is happy to go off and do this independently if you are busy doing something else. She is showing that she is naturally a well-balanced puppy with a great temperament.
While in foster care, Temu has been living with one of her brothers. The pair enjoy a good rumble together and playing tug with their favourite toy. She has also been living with multiple adult dogs of various ages and sizes, so her socialisation is off to a good start. Being a young pup, her new owners will need to continue her socialisation with other dogs, preferably in the form of playdates with known friendly dogs on a regular basis. When we rescued Temu, we also rescued her mum and we can let you know that her mum has a really wonderful nature and temperament which seems to have passed onto her daughter. We expect Temu to grow to a medium size like her mum and be moderately active. She will require daily exercise and mental stimulation throughout her life to keep her healthy and happy.
Temu spent the first part of her time in foster care focusing on eating, growing, playing and sleeping. But now she has begun her basic training. She is learning how to sit for a treat, wait for her food and walk on a lead. Temu’s new family will need to be committed to her ongoing training so that she can reach her full potential and grow up to be a good canine citizen. She is crate trained and sleeping through the night with her brother. Toilet training has begun and is progressing well but will need to be continued in her new home. Temu does well in new environments but if she is a little unsure, she looks to her foster carer for some guidance and recovers well. She travels easily in the car, often lying down for a nap to pass the time, so will be a good dog to take along for rides in the car with you.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Temu where she will be a loved member of the family. She is able to live with another friendly adult dog who is already trained up and able to be a good role model for her. Otherwise, she is fine to live as an only dog as long as her owners are home more often than not, at least during the settling in period. Temu should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. She is fine to live with dog savvy children who are confident enough to deal with typical puppy behaviours. Temu is currently living with a cat and is gradually learning that it is not interested in playing with her. She is fine to live with cats or other types of pets with the appropriate guidance and training. Temu is a fantastic little pup who will be a great addition to her new family. She is sure to provide plenty of fun, laughs and cuddles.

This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
