About Flame
Flame's story is one of survival and resilience. He was dumped with 3 other siblings at one of our foster carers after she was asked to help with some kittens. As you can Flame is not a kitten and the owner took advantage of our foster carers kind heart. The boys were driven from South Australia in the back of a wagon shoved into a dog crate with no floor in it so they had to try and stand or sit between the wire. The 'owner' literally dumped the cats in the dog crate with hardly any words and drove off.
They had only been at their foster home for days when the Bayindeen fires broke out. Another very scary moment for these boys being having to be evacuated to a relief centre and then to Ballarat as the relief centre was under threat.
Since then we have had all their vetwork done and they are all together in another foster home where their new carer has given them all the love and affection they deserve.
