About Lisa
Introducing Lisa!
Lisa is a Greyhound born 11th May 2022.
Lisa was surrendered to the facility (along with two other Greyhounds), from a Greyhound trainer, however we were told none of them have actually raced before.
Lisa's surrender profile states she is house trained, travels well in the car, has shown no signs of separation anxiety, she is friendly with children & adult strangers, she is good with dogs & can walk on lead.
Lisa is incredibly friendly, playful & loved doing zoomies on the grass. She can be a little timid at times, but overall she is quite a confident Greyhound.
Lisa tested well with other dogs but was overall not fazed by them. We believe Lisa would be suitable to live with other dogs, or she can be a spoilt "only child". If you have a friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Lisa seemed scared of cats & kittens. All of our cat testing is through an enclosure, so these results may vary if a cat is free roaming in front of her.
Lisa became very interested when she heard Russell the Rooster. We are recommending a home with no pocket pets.
Lisa has shown no signs of separation anxiety or food aggression since being at the facility.
Lisa's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing and lifetime registration.
Lisa is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with her vaccinations.
To enquire more or to meet Lisa, please call 0499 900 272 or email ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Lisa is looking forward to meeting you and she is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
