About Bruno
Introducing Bruno!
Bruno is a Pug x Cavalier born 6th February 2020.
Bruno was surrendered to the facility after a relationship break-up. His owner was happy to keep him until he was told he had to move interstate & unfortunately he wasn't allowed to take Bruno with him.
Bruno's surrender profile states; he is not house trained but has had some obedience training. He is outgoing & confident and shows no signs of food aggression or separation anxiety. He is friendly with children, adult strangers and other dogs. He travels well in the car and can walk on lead.
Bruno's incredibly affectionate and LOVES human attention (especially when they have treats). Bruno is highly food motivated and also loves tennis balls. He's a hilarious little dude who just wants to be loved on.
Bruno tested well with other dogs but can get overwhelmed if they're too boisterous. If the other dog is super excited and bouncy, Bruno's tail immediately tucks between his legs and he turns away from them. We believe Bruno would be suitable to live with other dogs, or he can be a spoilt "only child". If you have a friendly dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.
Bruno seemed scared/not interested by cats. All of our cat testing is through an enclosure, so these results may vary if a cat is free roaming in front of him.
Bruno is currently untested with pocket pets.
Since being at the facility we have noticed that Bruno does show signs of separation anxiety, however this could be caused by the stressful kennel environment as his previous owner stated he is fine being left alone by himself at home.
Bruno's adoption fee is $600 and includes his desexing and lifetime registration.
Bruno is also regularly treated for flea and worms and is up to date with his vaccinations.

Bruno is looking forward to meeting you and he is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
