✨ Meet Maia ✨

Maia lived as a much-loved pet for over 1.5 years, but sometimes the dynamics at home just aren’t the perfect fit. With love and care from her family, the decision was made to help Maia find a new start, and she has since returned to foster care.

True to her nature, Maia has taken it all in stride. She’s already settled beautifully into two different foster homes, showing just how adaptable she is. She’s used to apartment living, now shares her space happily with a few greyhounds and a whippet, and could just as easily imagine being a solo dog soaking up all the attention.

You’ll often find Maia upside-down in her favourite roach pose, fast asleep or sunbaking without a care in the world. She’s fully toilet trained, walks nicely on the lead, and has all the manners you’d expect from a dog who’s been a pet for so long.

Maia is a little princess at heart and may try to test a few boundaries when she first arrives. A confident owner who can gently guide her (like teaching her to wait at the door) will bring out the very best in her. She also pretends you can’t touch her feet, but with gentle reassurance, she’s proven she’s just fine.

She’s a snuggler through and through. Once she feels ready, she’ll happily curl up on the sofa and rest her head on your lap, reminding you what companionship is all about. She’s a good eater, sleeps right through the night, and while she doesn’t love being left alone, she’s shown she can tolerate a few hours just fine.

Maia is now searching for her true forever home — her second chance at happily ever after. 💛
