Hey there! My name's Minnie, it's so nice to meet you! I'm a very sweet girl and I'm on the lookout for my furever home, could that be with you? Here's a little about me so we can find out!

I'd like to go to a home with an experienced owner, someone who has owned dogs before. It's okay if you haven't owned German Shepherds before, but it would be great if you had a bit of knowledge about us and what we're like! We're a high energy working breed, we need lots of mental stimulation to keep us happy. We are also known to be a bit protective, so someone that knows this would be great!

My pawfect home would be one with children 6 and above if you have any! This is just so the children are a bit older and know to not overhandle me and give me breaks with patting. I'm great at walking away when I've had enough pats for now, so if you give me a break I can decide if I want to stay for more cuddles or move away for a bit. I'm very sweet though and I do love pats from my people!

I have not had the best experience with other dogs while in the shelter, and because of this they make me a bit uncomfortable. For this reason I'll need to be the only dog in the household please! I'm great at avoiding dogs on walks, and am able to walk past them, but meeting dogs makes me a bit scared and unsure, so dog parks would not be suitable for me.

I'd like to go to a home where I have indoor and outdoor access please! This gives me lots of space to move around. I like being with my people, so I'd love to spend time indoors with you, and also have the backyard to stretch my legs. I'm not very good at being on my own at the moment, I'll need a helping paw learning to be left alone, but in the meantime I'd love a home where my people are home more often than not.

I'm super sweet and very loving, I love picking up toys and playing with them. I have so much love to give. So if I sound like your pawfect pup, please don't hesitate to come down to the shelter to meet me!
