About Daisy
Daisy is a happy, smoochy, playful and adaptable pup who is eager to please and gets along with everyone.
Daisy is in foster care due to no fault of her own but finds herself looking for a new loyal family at less than 9 months of age.
She loves other dogs, and going to the dog park and meeting every human or canine who will pay attention to her. She will chase the ball, but more so to be part of the game, than a ball obsession. She loves playing tug of war and chasey. And also chewing things – dog toys, sticks, or anything similar!
Daisy hasn’t had formal training, but she is smart and eager to please. She knows the basics – sit, come, leave, and has good recall. Given her keenness for food and positive attention, she will be easy to train. Although she is so keen for attention, getting her to stay still for good profile photos has been challenging.
She is very gentle and submissive – rolling over if potentially facing dominance from other dogs. However, she is not shy. At the beach, she will barrel up to people on their picnic blankets, to get pats, and engage with any dog that is interested. She was initially scared of the 2mth old foster kitten however is now getting used to cats and knows they are not a threat.
She has lived with a child since 2-3mths old and in foster care she lives with young children. Daisy is very comfortable with kids but needs a little training about jumping when she gets excited – especially until she loses a few kilos and gets back into shape. She has a lot of energy and can run and play for as long you let her.
Daisy is a pretty perfect companion dog, who will reward whichever lucky soul chooses to adopt her into their family.
