About Ivy
Ivy is a loveable, 10-month old Maremma female. Affectionate and fun-loving, Ivy enjoys socialising with her foster humans and doggie siblings.
With a doggie grin and high five at the ready, Ivy loves nothing more than playing a game of fetch or tug. If there's water or mud, Ivy is straight in for a paddle!
Her shaggy coat does require regular grooming and luckily, Ivy loves nothing more than a pamper (especially when a belly rub is included).
Ivy has good recall, sits and drops. She is toilet trained and travels well in the car. She has been equally at home inside and out, and will prove an excellent foot warmer in winter if given the chance.
In her foster home, she has interacted with dogs of varying sizes, ages and energy levels. Ivy was completely unfazed by the resident cat. She has also met the goats, chickens and horses over the fence.
Ivy's ideal home would have experience with her breed. She would be fine with a doggie friend with similar energy levels or on her own. Acreage is required. Due to still being a young, exuberant girl Ivy would be best suited to a home with older children.
If Ivy sounds like she'd fit right in, please send in an application today!
Ivy is located in QLD.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
