Sake’ (pronounced like the Japanese wine) is a one year old GORGEOUS , golden Kelpie mix. He came to SoCares as an unmicrochipped stray that was very frightened and shut down. Sake’ has certainly come out of his shell since then!

Sake’ is affectionate and very sweet. His foster carer reports that he is housetrained, enjoys walks and meeting other dogs.

She believes he would love to have another dog to play with in his furever home, provided they’re not too dominating. Sake’ was exposed to cats at the facility and showed interested in them, but easily changed his focus and moved away. We believe that he may be ok to share a home with a cat, provided a careful, supervised introduction was made.

Sake’ has not shown any digging, chewing or barking behaviours whilst in foster care. He’s an all round good boy!

Sake’s adoption fee is $550. This includes his desexing, up to date vaccination, worming, flea and tick treatments, microchipping and lifetime registration.

Sake’ is only available for adoption in NSW, due to the need for him to be returned to the Central Coast area for desexing. A meet and greet is also mandatory.
