About Lunar
If you are interested in Lunar, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/3bTG6XWQv49RPxJV6
Lunar has been adopted 1.5years ago and has lived a happy pet life with her greyhound brother. Sadly, after a relationship breakdown and with the cost of living crisis, her current fur mum had to made the difficult decision to find Lunar a new home.
In her current owner's words:
Lunar is the best thing to wake up to on a morning and the best to come home to after a day at work. She loves to do little zoomies and spins whenever she knows you’re awake and has caused endless laughter with her silly ways. Whenever I have visitors over, they instantly fall in love with Lunar, because she is extremely affectionate with anybody she meets. She is a velcro dog and likes to be near you always. She loves nothing more than to cuddle on the sofa or on the bed, but she will listen to you if you’ve had enough and you ask her to get down. She really is the most perfect girl
Here are more details about Lunar:
Say hello to Lunar, who is ready to brighten your world. This charming hound can adapt to virtually any loving environment, whether it's an apartment or house. She treasures outdoor explorations in the backyard and also adapts serenely to apartment living. Lunar is as flexible as they come!
Lunar is a great companion who can either enjoy having company of another dog or be content as an only pet. She's capable of staying alone at home for workday durations, provided she's showered with love and cuddles upon your return. On the social scene, she's encountered children of all ages and conducts herself with gentle regard. While she does enjoy a quick bout of zoomies and occasionally brushes past when excited, she's generally furbulously well-behaved.
Lunar has shown no signs of resource guarding or sleep startle, making her a dream to have in the home. She's a whiz on the leash, walking with ease without any pulling or lunging (unless she spots a cat!) And fret not about potty training–Lunar has you covered there; she's fully toilet-trained and knows her way around city environments, showing no fear of cars or bikes.
Lunar is a great dog for new or experienced dog owners due to her easy adaptation to different home settings and her ability to interact well with everyone she encounters.
She is currently living with her greyhound brother and they get on very well. When meeting other breeds, she can be a bit selectively. She may freeze when other dogs approach her during walks, but that's just her unique way of observing before saying hello or sharing a friendly sniff.
In essence, Lunar is a four-legged package of love and adaptability. She's waiting to show you how much joy a dog can bring to your life.
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.
