About Chaplin STA012252
Meet Chaplin, a delightful feline gentleman who will surely warm your heart with his charming presence. Chaplin isn't just a cat; he's a devoted companion who thrives on human connection. His loving nature makes him a joy to have around, and he has a special way of making every day brighter with his endearing personality.
Chaplin's ideal day involves a lot of lounging around, soaking in the comfort of his home. While he isn’t too keen on being picked up, he absolutely adores belly rubs and will purr contentedly as you give him one. His favorite pastime is simply being near you, demanding attention with an irresistible gaze that says, "Stay with me a little longer." If you're someone who works from home or enjoys relaxing days in, Chaplin will be right by your side, making sure you're never lonely.
He does best in an environment where his human isn't constantly rushing off to work or social events. Chaplin doesn’t enjoy his own company for extended periods, so he'd flourish in a home where he's often surrounded by the people he loves. While he has a bit of a sensitive stomach, it’s easy to manage with the right gastro food, ensuring he remains healthy and happy.
Chaplin's affectionate nature and his need for constant companionship make him the perfect pet for someone looking for a loyal, loving friend who will always be there for them. If you have the time and heart to give Chaplin the attention he craves, he'll reward you with endless love and delightful companionship.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
