Arlo - 9 Week Old Rottweiler X (Trial)

Arlo is a 9 week old, male, Rottweiler cross German Shepherd puppy.

Arlo is a fluffy, playful and very sweet natured puppy with an abundance of puppy cuteness. He looks like a real life teddy bear! He loves pats, cuddles and chasing and will be your shadow by following you all day long.

Arlo is a very loyal and playful puppy who loves his toys and furry companions. Arlo is full of puppy energy and a bit of a goofball, he will keep you entertained for hours on end.

Arlo is very intelligent, a super quick learner and already uses the doggy door with ease and is learning to sit and raise his paw. Arlo sleeps through the night in his crate and is making progress with toilet training. An owner willing to commit to ongoing training with Arlo will ensure that he has the best start to life.

Arlo is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. He is friendly with dogs. He shared his foster home with another puppy and medium sized dog as well as a cat and he isn’t bothered by the cat. Arlo is also very friendly with people.

Arlo will grow up to be a medium to large dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Arlo. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time until Arlo is older.

Arlo needs to be welcomed inside when people are home, and to sleep inside as part of his new family. He will be a wonderful and loyal family dog and is suitable for children over 5. You need good fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

Arlo’s sibling, Scout, is also available for adoption.

Arlo’s adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.

Arlo is in foster care in Newcastle, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.
