🐕Meet Jed!🐕
🐾 Personality:
Jed is a total sweetheart who would love a doggy friend to play with!
Jed was raised with limited human and outside world interaction so he is timid initially around new experiences and new people but once he opens up becomes a wonderful affectionate boy to his human owners and doggy friends.
He LOVES other dogs, being around them and playing with them and gets a lot of confidence from them so a home with another friendly playful dog is necessary to help bring him out of his shell.
Jed was timid initially with his foster carers but now loves to follow them around the house and cuddle with them on the bed and couch. Jed is currently being fostered in Coffs Harbour so we are seeking a localish adoption in the Mid North Coast region so we can continue to provide training support and guidance to his new owners.
Jed is currently being fostered in the suburbs but finds all the busy suburban noises a bit too much so we are seeking a quieter semi rural/rural home for him. He loves going on walks in the countryside or on quiet streets but finds busy suburban streets a bit too much for him.
🎓 Training:
Jed will thrive with additional care and understanding as he adjusts to his new environment. He needs someone experienced and dedicated to ongoing training to help him decompress and gradually come out of his shell. Our rescue will provide the necessary support to help Jed settle in. We are looking for a rural or semi-rural home with another doggy friend for Jed to play with.
Jed knows his basic commands and is house and crate trained. He is currently on daily anxiety tablets to help him manage his stress levels as he acclimates to new environments.
🏠 Perfect Home:
Jed is on the lookout for a patient and loving family who can give him a calm environment to settle into and allow him the opportunity to explore his surroundings in his own time. He is hoping to find a family (no young kids) who can provide him with the exercise and social interaction this playful pup needs. Additionally, Jed's forever home must include another well-trained dog to help him build confidence with people and the world around him.
If you are interested in being part of Jed's journey with a Foster-with-a-view-to-adopt home, then we would love to hear from you. 📧📞
