About Nylah - Located in Preston
Hey there, potential paw-rent!
I'm Nylah, your one-of-a-kind, cheeky black-and-white whirlwind ready to stir up some fun in your life! If mischief were a sport, I'd be the MVP. But hey, what's life without a little adventure, right?
I come equipped with boundless energy and a mischievous spirit that's guaranteed to keep you on your toes. Whether it's chasing after my sisters with lightning speed or staging epic wrestling matches (and yes, I totally win, despite what Nyssa might say), I'm always up for a good time.
Now, about my favorite pastime: tormenting my dear old mum's swishing tail. She might not agree, but trust me, it's the ultimate entertainment! I've got a knack for finding trouble, but I like to play it cool, lurking in the shadows until the perfect moment to swoop in and steal the spotlight.
But don't let my cheeky antics fool you—I've got a soft side too. When I'm not causing chaos, you can find me curled up in a cozy cat bed or snuggled amongst my sisters, catching some well-deserved Z's. And while I might take a little longer to warm up to the idea of being a lap cat, with the right home (and maybe a friendly feline mentor), I'll get there in no time.
So, if you're in the market for a furry bundle of love, laughter, and just a touch of trouble, look no further. I'm Nylah, and I'm ready to charm my way into your heart—and maybe wreak a little havoc along the way.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
