Peggy is a shy girl who has come a long way since she arrived into care. Peggy came into care very timid and has only just started to trust people, but with time and patience she will become a loyal companion who enjoys being close to her humans. If you are Peggy's special person you will need a good dose of patience and not expect too much from her to begin with, and be able to offer her a calm and gentle homes he. Then Peggy will reward you with affection.
We feel it's possible Peggy was mistreated in her past as she is often quite scared of the human hand and only feels comfortable giving and receiving affection at her own pace, but she is improving now that she is in a loving foster home. In a quieter home where she can build up trust, her true personality will show through.
Peggy is better suited for a family with no other animals or young children. She loves to sun herself in the outdoor cat enclosure and is a truly rewarding beauty.
MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, F3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip - including the transfer of ownership - and sterilisation. Peggy came into care with sore rear legs so we think she may have been in an accident of some sort shortly before she arrived with us, however her legs are fine now.
ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen cat is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.
Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
