About Umber
Meet Umber, an unusual looking red-brown and black kitty. From a distance or in dark lighting he may seem like a standard black cat, but most of his body is actually a dark red-brown with proper black as points on his face and feet and a stripe down his back. We think this unusual colouring may be due to being a Burmese cross.
Umber was a Point Cook colony cat. He was born on the streets and very fearful of people.
He has been gradually coming out of his shell in foster care and has been giving nose bumps and lap cuddles recently. He is enjoying the comforts of indoor living and human love.
He is timid with new people but very sweet. He just needs someone who can give him a little patience while he adapts and learns to trust and love a new human. Can you be this patient person for Umber? The rewards will be great for anyone who will take the time to bond with this sweet little panther.
